Special Screening of “The Inbetweeners” Episodes with TV Series’ Writer Iain Morris
September 10, 2012
Dodge College is hosting the writer of “The Inbetweeners,” a popular British TV comedy – recently made into a film – this week!
THE INBETWEENERS follows four out-of-their-league friends as they embark on a rampage of wild partying, sexual escapades and hilarious misadventures while vacationing in the Mediterranean. See the film that movieweb says is “better than all four American Pie movies combined.”

, we’re all pretty big fans of British humor on this side of the pond, close as we may be to the heart of American comedy film production in Hollywood.
That’s why it’s no surprise that MTV recently picked up the hilarious (and highly reviewed) comedy series aired by UK network E4, which had amassed some enormous ratings over its 3-season span. Although a US remake of the series was troubled by some production complications early in 2010, a pilot script was penned and picked up by MTV late in 2011, following the success of the series’ film spinoff. The pilot aired just weeks ago, on August 20, 2012.
With all the praise and hooplah surrounding the various versions of the comedy property, we’re thrilled to announce that Dodge College will host a screening of the first two episodes which inspired the film, which just hit theaters in the US, and one of The Inbetweeners’ ingenious writers for a Q&A – Iain Morris, pictured below.
For all you aspiring comedy screenwriters out there, and even just for those of you looking for a laugh, these episodes of The Inbetweeners will be a perfectly hilarious break in the early weeks of the semester!
We’ll see you
