Calling all juniors and seniors! “College to Career Night” is a crash course in networking [Updated]
October 30, 2013
Updated: This year’s College to Career night is now open to Juniors, as well as Seniors. It’s the first time we’ve offered this opportunity to Juniors, so grab a spot while you still can!
Join the Dodge College Alumni Association for College to Career night in LA on November 6, 2013 for an evening of networking and career advice.
Alumni from across the entertainment industry in film, TV, marketing, and broadcast will share their valuable insights and first-hand knowledge on how to prepare yourself for life after college. Table hosts include alumni who are currently working in various sectors of the industry, at great companies like:
- Disney
- Warner Bros.
- HBO
- Fox Sports
- Paramount Insurge
- Fresh Cut Creative
- Edelman
- ICM Partners
And, more are being added every day. They are agents, screenwriters, editors, cinematographers, directors, producers, entertainment marketers, development executives and the list goes on!
We will facilitate intimate, round table conversations between working alumni and you, the graduating Class of 2014. Alumni will host tables for approximately 3-5 students who will be matched to each host based on their career interests. You can expect stimulating discussion on what the transition from college to working life is like, and it’s a great opportunity to tap into the knowledge base of your peers and former classmates.
The relationships formed in these networking event have led to some amazing partnerships, as a huge number of our dedicated alumni continue to foster the relationships they begin in school, throughout their career. It’s a fun, relatively informal – but incredibly informational – event that’s really just focused on allowing you to expand on the classroom experience, as you can see in the photos from the 2012 College to Career night, above (see more photos from last year’s event on our Flickr set, as well).
