Professor Harry Ufland invites you to join him for a special Casting & Actors Panel, featuring special guests Jane Jenkins, Roger Mussenden, Mary Vernieu, Stephanie Feury and David Ward, on Thursday, March 20 at 4:00 p.m. in Folino Theater.

“I believe this will help each and every student who is involved in the filmmaking process learn so much about actors and casting. It should be one of the most exciting and informative events that I’ve put together since I’ve been at Chapman,” says Ufland. “The panelists are all leaders in the industry with a wealth of experience, knowledge and ability that will benefit each you regardless of what your eventual role in the business might be.”

Feury, Jenkins, Mussenden, and Vernieu have cast such movies and pilots as The Avengers (2012), Iron Man (2008), Crash (2004) Marvels: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013-2014), A Beautiful Mind (2001), Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001), Jurassic Park (1993), Sin City (2005), Black Swan (2010) and Requiem for a Dream (2000). Our very own Academy Award-winning writer/director David Ward (The Sting, winner of the 1973 Best original screenplay) will add the writer/director’s point of view about acting and actors.
