Second Year in a Row Students win at CAS

Xiang “Lisa” Li (MFA.FP ’17) has taken home the Student Recognition Award at the 54th Annual Cinema Audio Society Awards, a tribute to the effort for those who worked on the film. She was presented with the award and a check for $2500 at the CAS ceremony this past weekend. Student Recognition Award is enthusiastically supported by both IMAX and Avid Technology. Current student, Anna Wozniewicz (BFA.FP ’18) was also nominated for this award.
Additionally, Amanda Renee Knox’s (MFA.FP ’17) Night Call won Best Student Film at the 12th Annual Beaufort International Film Festival.
And Grant Moore’s (MFA.FP ’17) Pickle won Best Short Film at the 8th Annual Nacogdoches Film Festival in Texas.
