Festival and Awards Report – Week of June 16

Three Chapman films won awards at the ASC Student Awards last weekend:

• Matthew Blake won the ASC Student Heritage Award in the documentary category for his cinematography in Forest Keepers.
• Ben Mullinkosson won the honorable mention in the documentary category for his cinematography in The Pink Helmet Posse.
• Doug Potts won the honorable mention in the Graduate category for his cinematography in Andre Foster.

Two Chapman films screen at the Palm Springs International ShortFest this week:

• Into the Silent Sea (Andrej Landin)
• The Pink Helmet Posse (Benjamin Mullinkosson and Kristelle Laroche).

Screening this week at Frameline: San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival:

• The L Riders (Eric Ward, Johnny Wilcox, Kevin Wolf, Zane Schwartz)
