Students enrolled in EDUC 541 recently partnered with Heninger Elementary in Santa Ana to work with their second grade students to provide inquiry-based mathematics instruction.

“I was really impressed with our teacher candidates in their attention to student thinking, their ability to visually represent student ideas and build on instruction with student ideas,” said Dr. Cathery Yeh, CES Assistant Professor.

The same students will return to Heninger again next week to work with fourth and fifth grade students.
