Tech Hub Grand Opening – DeMille 104 February 15th. Open to All!

Please join us on February 15th for the Grand Opening of the Chapman TechHub located in 104 DeMille. The event begins at 11:30, and goes until 6. Feel free to drop in at any time during the day. A full schedule can be found at chapman.edu/techhub.
The brand new Tech Hub will be an open space for all students, faculty and staff to come in and experiment with the latest and greatest in teaching and learning technology for the classroom. Currently technologies available in the TechHub include a short throw projector and interactive whiteboard and a Cisco Spark board, used for video conferencing and remote learning.
Dean Andrew Lyon will be kicking off the Grand Opening event at 11:30 AM on February 15th. Other guest and faculty speakers include:
- Dr. Amir Raz – Chapman University Brain Institute (https://www.chapman.edu/research/institutes-and-centers/brain-institute/index.aspx)
- Lightning Talks on the use of technology in the classroom by several faculty members.
- Fabian Geyrhalter – Author, Brand Strategist and the Founder & Principal of Finien (http://www.finien.com/about/)
- Hands-on demos of the latest technologies from Microsoft, Apple and Adobe
- And much more!
