This week, Microsoft Teams has implemented a new Webinar feature, which is available to all Chapman Faculty and Staff. The new Webinar feature allows users to “hold interactive meetings and webinars for up to 1,000 attendees.” (Herskowitz, 2021)

Setting up a webinar is as easy as scheduling a meeting. However, when setting up a webinar, the host has the ability to create a custom registration page and email invitations to attendees. Webinar hosts will also have access to post-event reporting on attendee data. Webinar presenters will also have more control on how content will appear to their attendees.
