Professor Katherine Darmer was quoted in an article in Daily Pilot entitled, “Gay soldier finds support.”  The article discusses local groups protesting the pending dismissal of Orange County native Lt. Dan Choi from the Army on basis of his sexual orientation. Darmer states, “I would be hopeful that the new presidential administration would use this as an opportunity to illustrate how bad the policy is… I mean, the man has done nothing other than state he’s gay.” Read article…
