Fowler School of Law Hosts 18th Annual U.S.-China Legal Exchange

On Monday, December 9, 2013, the Fowler School of Law, U.S. Department of Commerce, and China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) co-hosted the 18th Annual U.S.-China Legal Exchange (“Exchange”) at the law school. The Exchange centered around Chinese Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Law and Legal Aspects of Entrepreneurship in China, including Private Equity and Venture Capital.

Chapman Law Students Travel to Uganda for 2013 ‘Destination Africa’ Program

In collaboration with the Destination: Africa program at Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, Chapman University’s Fowler School of Law students Stephanie Lincoln (’14) and Juliana Madden (’15) were selected to help with legal research and post-production work for 13 documentary film students. In June, the students finalized documentaries about non-governmental organizations in Uganda.

Jaryn Saritzky is the First Student at Chapman to Win ‘Best Advocate’ at National Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition
