The Leatherby Libraries is pleased to welcome all members of the Chapman community back for the interterm course session. Hopefully, this winter break has rejuvenated and re-energized everyone. Getting back to the swing of things, the library is open and ready to help you with all your studying needs. During interterm, we will be running on a modified schedule (see below).

As usual, the Reference Desk is open to help with any research questions. During interterm, Reference Desk Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Taylor Greene, who has been with the Leatherby Libraries for over four years as Performing Arts Librarian, oversees the Reference Desk as part of his new role, Chair of Instructional Services Division. Taylor wants students to know that librarians at the Reference Desk “are available to answer questions for any students working on projects over break. Now’s a good time,” he points out, “to meet with your [subject liaison] librarian about your thesis projects or any other research you’ll be working on in the Spring semester.”

In need of a quick snack? The library cafe is open during interterm as well! Itching for a new book to read during January? Check out our newest materials! Another thing you can check out while you’re at the library is our “Reading Revamp” exhibit in the Hall of Art on our first floor. This exhibition showcases work from upper division graphic design students from Rachelle W. Chuang’s Book Design class during Fall 2018.

As the new year continues, we have many exciting events planned for this upcoming semester! So stay tuned to hear more! From us at the Leatherby Libraries, have a great interterm session and we are so glad to see you again.
