Leatherby Libraries Re-Opens for Returning Students Learn about our new policies and procedures for using the library safely

The Leatherby Libraries is happy to welcome those students who are returning to the Chapman University campus beginning Monday, October 19, 2020.
The Leatherby Libraries has re-opened to welcome students back to campus, but our policies and procedures are new. Please read below to learn how you can use the library safely.
- Prior to entering the library, you must reserve a study space.
See updated study space reservation policies here! - Download the MyLibrary! application for your mobile IOS or Android device. Use it to browse the catalog, place holds, view your circulation account and display your digital barcode for a contactless checkout of items and study space access.
- Browsing the library collections is currently NOT Place a hold on items in the library catalog and the library will notify you when they are ready to be picked up.
- To access classrooms in the Leatherby Libraries basement be prepared to provide class information at the Circulation Desk to be allowed to proceed.
*Early arrival (more than 15 minutes) to a scheduled class will NOT be permitted.

The Center for American War Letters Archives and the Frank Mt. Pleasant Library of Special Collections & Archives will be accessible by individual appointment. To request an appointment, please contact Laurie Cussalli at gates@chapman.edu.
