A new research guide highlighting data sets and resources is now available for Chapman University faculty, students, and staff. The Data Sets and Resources guide provides a single access point for the Chapman community to browse the available data sets and sources supporting the growing research and data sciences programs.

The guide combines the list of subscription-based Statistics and Data resources already found in the Database A-Z List with over 50 additional open access data resources. It is divided into five major disciplines: Humanities, Social Sciences, Business & Economics, Science & Engineering, and Health Sciences. This disciplined focus access will help individual researchers target their field of study effortlessly.

The data sets are acquired from many places across the globe, including educational institutions, research organizations, national databases, and international organizations. Librarians will continue to add relevant data resources and sets depending on the research needs of their respective liaison areas.

If a data set should be added to our resources, please send recommendations to the Chair of Resources and Scholarly Communications, Kristin Laughtin-Dunker, at laughtin@chapman.edu.
