Connect to Knowledge: SAGE Campus Reap the Rewards with these Resources

The Leatherby Libraries is pleased to offer a new research tool to the Chapman Community: SAGE Campus.
SAGE Campus provides a suite of over 30 structured, online, self-paced courses (with over 250 hours of content) covering critical skills and research methods. The courses range from 2 to 40 hours each and cover all disciplines and stages of academic study, from undergraduate students to faculty researchers. Courses cover a variety of topics, including:
- Navigating information and data literacy, with courses such as Critical Thinking: An Online Course, Critical Reading and Writing, See Numbers in Data, Know Your Numbers, Statistical Significance, and Introduction to Data Visualization.
- Research skills, with courses such as Research Question, Research Proposal, Plan Your Project, Gather Your Data Online, Research Design in Social Data Science, Present Your Research, Do Your Interviews, Conduct a Literature Review, and Analyze Qualitative Data.
- Data science skills, with courses such as Introduction to R, Practical Data Management with R, Interactive Visualization with R, Collecting Social Media Data, Introduction to Python, Intermediate Python Skills, Introduction to Text Mining, and Fundamentals of Quantitative Text Analysis.
- Getting published¸ with courses such as Introduction to Journal Publishing, Publishing for Impact, Choosing a Journal, How to Write a Journal Article parts 1 and 2, Submission and Final Touches, Peer Review, Feedback and Decisions, and Article Acceptance to Promotion.
