CUSP is proud to announce a landmark achievement of its Doctor of Pharmacy Class of 2023, who have achieved historically high scores on the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX). The first-time pass rate for CUSP graduates reached 87.9%, placing CUSP graduates as the second-highest all-time pass rate in California.

These scores are also the third-highest first-time pass rates among pharmacy schools in California, and the highest first-time pass rate in the history of Chapman University School of Pharmacy, underscoring the commitment of both faculty and students to academic excellence and the advancement of pharmaceutical knowledge.

“We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2023 for their outstanding performance on the NAPLEX,” said Dr. Madeline Dintzner, Professor and Associate Dean of Assessment and Accreditation. “This accomplishment not only highlights the dedication and hard work of our students but also reflects the quality of education and training they receive at CUSP. We are confident that these graduates will make significant contributions to the field of pharmacy and continue to uphold the high standards set by Chapman University School of Pharmacy.”

The NAPLEX is a rigorous examination that tests the knowledge and skills essential for pharmacists to practice safely and effectively. Achieving an 87.9% first-time pass rate is a testament to the comprehensive education provided at CUSP, preparing graduates for success in their professional careers.
