Chapman University’s Student Research Day
(CUSRD) is a truly exciting day to learn about, explore and appreciate the efforts that students and faculty have put into a wide variety of research and creative projects across the campus.
All Chapman University undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to participate in this research day. Faculty, staff, parents, friends and community are welcome to attend to view the scholarly and creative activities conducted by Chapman students. Students interested in presenting must complete an
Abstract Submission Form
by Tuesday, April 15th, 2014.
This year’s CUSRD will be held on Wednesday, May 14th, 2014. The morning poster session, scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Sandhu Conference Center, will feature student research if the fields of the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Following this, alumna and professor
Jennifer Backhaus
will deliver the keynote speech during lunch in the Bush Conference Center, Beckman Hall 404. (If you plan to attend this lunch, you must RSVP to

.) The afternoon poster session, scheduled for 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Sandhu Conference Center, will feature student research in the areas of Natural and Applied Sciences.
