The team’s dish actually won “Best Flavor” while in competition with exotic dishes from all over the world.
Pav Bhaji is a traditional Indian dish from Mumbai in central India. The dish had a prominent tomato curry taste with a potato gravy texture and would satisfy any curry lover.
Other notable winners include Peruvian, Chinese, and Mediterranean. The team representing France won best dessert for its sweet crepes. The Hawaiian team had a delicious roasted pork dish that is traditional during a Luau.
Anyone can get involved with cultural clubs on campus and learn about a country foreign to you. You can always find good food, too.
