Recently at the Argyros School, there have been many new additions to the Graduate Business offices in Beckman 301, one of them being the new Assistant Director of Graduate Business Programs, Jim Dusserre. Jim recently joined the Argyros team after a successful career in the beauty, insurance, medical, chemical & educational worlds. This is not Jim’s first stint as a Panther, however, as he is a graduate of the EMBA program. This time around, as Assistant Director, he will be developing recruitment strategies, planning business programs, managing communications and interviewing candidates to join the program he once experienced himself.

As an entrepreneur, Jim has been exposed to many industries and many types of people, making him a great asset to the ASBE team. Jim reflected on his previous experiences saying, “Regardless of the industry, the size of the company or your title, the most important lesson to be learned in every experience is the soft skills/people skills.”

“I believe in Chapman because the smaller class sizes and personalized education really put our students in a position to succeed.” Jim is looking forward to helping our Accounting students get to where they want in life through the M.S. in Accounting program and building the upcoming M.S. in Real Estate program for its first class next Fall.
