Crean College to Host Two Online Events for Parent Spring Summit 2021
February 4, 2021
Crean College of Health & Behavioral Sciences (CHBS) will be hosting two online events during Parent Spring Summit 2021. The events are tailored specifically to parents of undergraduates majoring in Psychology, Health Sciences, and Applied Human Physiology.
- Crean College Career Advising
- Feb 25- 1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Presented by Heidi Girolamo, CHBS Career Advisor
- Dialogue with the Dean (DWTD)
- Feb 25- 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Presented by Dr. Janeen Hill, Founding Dean of Crean College
Out of the two online events, DWTD is the one we most encourage parents to attend. In fact, we are hoping to double participation this year since the event is being held online. Here are the top three reasons to participate:
It’s a rare opportunity for parents to engage directly with University leadership.
If your parents love information, DWTD is a must-go! The presentation gives parents a comprehensive look at all of the services and offerings available to their students. It provides education and career data relevant to those pursuing health-related professions. Finally, it informs parents of the multiple ways they can stay engaged and be heard.
This year, parents can submit a question or comment online prior to the event.
Parents now have the option to submit a question or share feedback prior to the event by clicking this link. Questions raised during the live session are also welcomed. We encourage everyone to share their honest feedback, comments, and questions.
You don’t even need to leave the house.
Once registered, parents will receive a confirmation notice containing the link to their event/s. No need to get dressed up or even leave the house. You can enjoy the event from the comfort of your own home with your webcam turned on or off!
