January 7, 2016
Students who wish to turn their love of film into careers in teaching, writing film reviews, working for film festivals or film studios, or working in archives and film preservation have another option for study in Dodge College. The Film Studies 4 +1 Integrated Program allows undergraduate students to get a head start on their M.A. in Film Studies by simultaneously enrolling in graduate courses.
“The 4+1 program offers an excellent opportunity for talented Dodge students to continue their
education without interruption and earn both a BA and MA degree in five years,” says Film Studies Professor Emily Carman.
Graduates will also be prepared to pursue a Ph.D. in film or media studies.
To be eligible for the program students must apply in the spring of their junior year and have at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA. For application requirements, visit the Dodge College website.
