Directing student Caylee So shares some photos, and thoughts, of her time in Burkina Faso.

Filmmaking is a universal language no matter what continent or country you are from.  Its the need to express the art within one’s self.   To be able to go to a country like Burkina Faso and to share the love of this kind of art, was an extremely humbling experience.  Yes, they work with less equipment and technology then we do, but they were just as eagerly passionate about their craft and their spirit of excitement to learn and exchange knowledge was so infectious that I leave the program knowing that my ability as a storyteller has been strengthened; I am extremely grateful for that.
