Public Relations & Advertising Senior Lynette Greathouse is now the director of the nationally accredited, student-run Public Relations firm Chapman Impressions – and she’s looking for new applicants to the firm.  Read on to find out more about the program: their mission, background, and most importantly, info on how to apply!

First impressions are everything—that is why we strive to produce top quality material for each of our clients. At Impressions, we take pride in creating a mutually beneficial environment for students and clients by creating an atmosphere that focuses on strong work ethic, positive learning experiences and real world challenges.

Founded in 2009, Chapman Impressions is one of the 33 PRSSA nationally affiliated, student-run firms in the country. Our goal is to give students a hands-on experience by working with a Southern California business or non-profit enabling them to leave the firm with a portfolio of their work to share with potential employers.  As a firm member you are tasked with conducting research, writing a public relations plan, managing media relations, writing releases and pitches, building brands and much more, all for a real client. This is a great step for students who want some practice in an internship setting without leaving campus. With the guidance of our experienced leadership team and great academic advisors you have the comforts of the classroom with the feedback of an employer.

Personally, I received my first full-time job while still attending Chapman due to the work I completed while with Impressions, and I know many other students who have as well. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow as a professional.

If you are interested in applying applications are available here. If you have any questions or would like an application emailed to you, contact us at Chapman.Impressions@gmail.com. Applications are due Friday Nov. 30.
