Celebration of the Paulo Freire Critical Pedagogy Archives

Please join Chapman University’s College of Educational Studies and Leatherby Libraries for a one-day symposium hosted by the Paulo Freire Democratic Project. Bringing together some of the most renowned critical pedagogists in the world, Chapman University will be privileged to host Dr. Nita Freire as the keynote speaker for the symposium: Teaching Critically and Democratically. Joining Dr. Freire will be joined by distinguished Chapman, CES professors and scholars, Drs. Peter McLaren and Tom Wilson and invited guests, Drs. Donaldo Macedo, Alma Flor Ada, Antonia Darder, and Richard Kahn.  Click here to view the flyer.

Following the symposium at 4 pm, Leatherby Libraries will host the celebration of Chapman University becoming the Official Home of the Paulo Freire Critical Pedagogy Archives.
