
Attallah College Celebrates Research and Collaboration at 2025 NASP Annual Conference

Chapman University’s Attallah College of Educational Studies had a strong presence at the 2025 National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) annual conference in Seattle, with faculty and students contributing to 14 activities, including presentations, mini-skills sessions, and workshops.
Faculty Highlights at NASP 2025
Dr. Annmary Abdou co-presented a paper on restorative justice and led a session titled “Restorative Conversations: Centering the Stories of AMENA School Psychologists,” continuing her leadership in advancing multicultural perspectives within the field.
Dr. Jeanne Anne Carriere facilitated a comprehensive workshop, “Writing Rut? Report Writing Best Practices for the New and Experienced School Psychologist,” providing practical support to both new and veteran professionals.
Dr. Kelly Kennedy and Dr. Zack Maupin participated in several presentations, including “Empowering Schools: Combatting LGBTQ Student Absenteeism for Inclusive Environments,” a paper addressing selective mutism strategies, and a mini-skills session on autism assessment tools.
