Modern technology and social media have been integrated into almost every person’s lives. Individuals can instantly share photos, post status updates, and message others from the comfort of their homes. There are approximately three and a half billion users of these social media apps worldwide and it’s estimated to increase 9% annually (Karim et al.).

Skedule is a planning application that creates study schedules based on the user’s own studying preferences. The algorithm used by the planner is based on a user’s “score” that would increase or decrease depending on the user’s preferences. By letting a student comfortably prepare for tests and assignments, academic-related stress would be mitigated. Full Poster:

The term Fake News encompasses a broad range of false information present in politics, healthcare, education, or any topic that is discussed in an increasingly polarized digital space. It’s clear that it is a complex problem, with no single right answer or rule to follow, which is why our team decided the most effective solution

We’ve created a user-led website that instills a user source rating system. On the website, users are allowed to insert a link of their choice and can rate it using our rating system. They can see the average score other users have given it as well. Full Poster: Combating Untrustworthy Articles

We’ve worked on a small scaled model car to recognize stop lights and react accordingly. Our progress so far includes a physical model of the car as well as plans to build and implement the AI itself. Full Poster: Stop Light AI
