Marine Gut Impaction & Alternative Plastic Noelle Clark, Sebastian Myhr, Ishan Sharma, Zoë von Allmen

The growing number of plastic bags being introduced to ocean systems is causing marine animals to accidentally consume harmful plastics, eventually leading to gut impaction and death. Regular plastic bags do not degrade and rely on individuals to recycle them to prevent permanent pollution. Current biodegradable plastic bags require industrial composting and are not digestible

Stock Exchange Rates in Relation to COVID-19 Trey Alexander, Tyler Lewis, Moises Lopez, Arisa Trombley, Julian Vlad, Esha Yamani

Our challenge is to create an accurate model exploring the correlation between key variables that impact the stock market during the COVID-19 pandemic. Existing models don’t completely account for the relationship between these key variables. Our approach is to use a model from the literature as a blueprint and to try to develop a more

Integration of Spent Coffee Grounds with 3D Printing Resin Ryley Jue, Viola Kalinin, Jocelyn Valdivia, Michelle Zhang

Climate change and the overconsumption of plastics are threats to the environment and future generations. Every year, roughly 250,000 tons of wet waste coffee grounds are thrown into landfills, where they decompose and release harmful methane into the atmosphere–further amplifying the effects of climate change. With the 3D printing industry growing so rapidly, our solution

Our grand challenge is to have a cost-efficient and versatile haptic feedback product that can be used for a variety of applied purposes. To solve this, we applied cost-efficient and versatile components to a glove with vibrational feedback by utilization of Arduino and vibrational motors.
