
Alumni Access to Chapman University Email and Services

As commencement approaches and our students prepare to take their next steps beyond Chapman, we want to acknowledge the excitement of such a big transition. Our goal is to make this process as smooth and supportive as possible, especially when staying connected and accessing essential digital tools.
Alumni Email Access
Starting with the Class of 2025, graduates will retain access to their Chapman University email accounts for three years after completing their final class. This extended access period gives them the time and flexibility to transition communications, update their contact information, and save important personal data. We’re also applying this update retroactively. The graduating class of 2023 will keep their access until 2026; the graduating class of 2024 will keep their access until 2027. Anyone who graduated from Chapman University prior to 2023 will no longer have access after a six-month grace period. The alumni will receive several email notifications before their access expires.
Microsoft 365 and OneDrive
Alumni will also retain access to Microsoft 365 web apps and OneDrive storage for one year after graduation. We encourage our graduates to back up their files and move data to personal accounts as soon as possible to avoid disruption.
