Leatherby Libraries Honors Life and Career of Harper Lee

American novelist Harper Lee passed away this morning at the age of 89. After the release of her novel,
To Kill a Mockingbird
, she became widely known and praised for her insight and portrayal of the prejudices in the Deep South.
In remembrance, the Leatherby Libraries has created a small display behind the reference desk on the first floor, honoring her life and her celebrated book.
