Leatherby Libraries Celebrates Birthday of Dr. Seuss

Today would be the 112th birthday of American writer and illustrator of Theod
or Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. During his lifetime he became widely known for his classic children’s books, and now his birthday is the day of the the national campaign, Read Across America Day.
In celebration, the Leatherby Libraries has created a small display behind the reference desk on the first floor, honoring his life and classic books. Make sure to stop and take a look—maybe get nostalgic about some of your favorite books as a kid.
