The Frank Mt. Pleasant Library of Special Collections and Archives at the Leatherby Libraries is pleased to announce that Chapman University has partnered with the John Wayne Airport Arts Program to exhibit a selection of the Huell Howser Archives running through May 1st, 2024.

Huell Howser was an American television personality, best known for his work hosting California’s Gold, a television program depicting Howser’s adventures exploring the State of California. Those visiting the John Wayne Airport will be able to experience Howser’s career and legacy through a selection of  the California’s Gold TV show collection and his fascinating found art collection.

The exhibition can be found pre-security on the upper Departure Level in the walkway Gallery between Terminals B and C.

Special thanks to the John Wayne Airport Arts Program and PBS SoCal for their collaboration and support of this exhibit.
