On Friday, May 4 Associate Professor of Spanish, Dr. Laura Loustau and Dr. Paul Apodaca, Associate Professor of American Studies were asked to serve as jurors for the Cal State University Student Research Competition at Cal State Long Beach.

This system-wide competition showcased excellence in scholarly research and creative activity conducted by CSU undergraduate and graduate students in the full range of academic programs offered by the CSU.

Student participants made oral presentations before juries of professional experts from major corporations, foundations, public agencies, and colleges and universities in California.
