CHAPMAN TV WRITER WINS $10,000 HUMANITAS PRIZE
July 15, 2010
Less than two months after graduating, Chapman TV and Screenwriting student Clay Keller has won the $10,000 David & Lynn Angell Comedy Writing Fellowship for his original pilot script "Dinner Theater." The script was written by Clay for his FTV 328 Seminar in Television Writing course. The fellowship, part of the prestigious Humanitas Awards for excellence in television and screenwriting, should provide a major boost for Clay and his writing career.
By the way, Clay got an A in the class – although the ten grand and the PR from the award are probably a lot more satisfying.
Congratulations to Clay!
