When you're hot, you're hot.  And narrative TV at Chapman is hot!  For the second year in a row, our flagship project, a full-length TV pilot, was nominated as Outstanding Drama at the NYTV Festival to be held Sept. 20-25.  What's amazing about our success is that this is not merely a student competition, but open to independent pros as well.  And our Chapman student projects are clearly right up there with the pros in terms of quality.

Congratulations to creators and executive producers Allie Del Franco and Kirsten Moore and the entire cast and crew that made Rising Above such a high quality pilot.  If you're in New York Sep. 20-25, come to the festival and check out our work.  And if you want to make your own pilot someday – and have it screened for hundreds of industry professionals looking for the next hit series for their network – then come to Chapman and be a TV major.
