The Prime Time TV Club held its annual “Foot in the Door” night where five recent alums told students the inside story on how to land that all-important first job in film or TV. 

The alums were:

  • Molly Wilson, Asst. to the Executive VP, Warner Bros. Television
  • Miles Leicher, Asst. to the Writers, Real Time With Bill Maher
  • Melissa Brown, Assistant Editor, CSI
  • Andrew Lewis, Development assistant to Jason Reitman
  • Daniella Beintema, Producers and Director’s assistant on several Disney features

Advice not to miss:

  • Always be learning, improving, adding new skills
  • Every job and task is an audition, a chance to show you’ve got what it takes
  • People skills are absolutely crucial
