Chapman TV Pilots Compete with Pros at Festival

For the third year in a row, a TV pilot written, produced, directed and created by Chapman students has been nominated as Outstanding Drama at the prestigious New York Television Festival.
Coyotes, created and written by Katie Mathewson and directed by Hans Sahni and Robert Amidon, will screen in New York the week of September 19th. Higher Education, created and written by Devonie Royal-Gordon and directed by Royal-Gordon, Robert Amidon and Hans Sahni received similar recognition and the Internation Television Festival in Los Angeles and screened there in early August.
These are not just student competitions, but are open to independent TV professionals as well.
