Work One-On-One with VFX Supervisor Jeffrey Kleiser (X-MEN) Apply to be a Pankey Scholar
January 11, 2019
We are currently taking applications for the spring 2019 Pankey Distinguished Artist program. This semester, our talented filmmaker is the Visual Effects Supervisor Jeffrey Kleiser. Kleiser has supervised visual effects on hits such as X-Men 2; X-Men: The Last Stand; and The One, to name a few.
If selected to participate as a Pankey Scholar, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with Mr. Kleiser as well as participate in one of many weekly dinners. Applicants should have a work in progress, either a screenplay, a concept in development for an animated or visual effects project, or footage suitable for an episodic form to work on during the semester.
If selected, students will meet individually with Mr. Kleiser for an hour every other Wednesday (between 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m). If you wish to be considered for this prestigious opportunity, please complete the scholar application form below. Please note: participation in this program requires enrollment in the course DA-310-01/FTV-529-01 (Wednesdays, 7 – 9:45 p.m.) with professor Bill Kroyer.
Complete the online application form by 11:59 p.m. (PST) on Friday, January 25, 2019.
