As an Adobe Creative Campus, Chapman University is part of a select group of colleges and universities shaping the future of digital literacy within global higher education. As a Creative Campus, Chapman University recognizes the value of teaching digital skills. We actively focus on them to help students succeed in the classroom and gain an edge in the modern competitive workplace.

We are proud to announce that Chapman’s Adobe community can now enjoy Adobe Stock and Adobe Substance.

Adobe Stock:

Adobe Stock is a photo service integrated into Adobe’s Creative Cloud platform. It offers a collection of over 600,000 high-quality images that can be accessed from its website or through the library features of various applications, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. You can easily search, select, and apply the stock photos you have chosen for your designs right from the interface without importing files or third-party services. This eliminates the need for you to spend time manually navigating through the different stock photo sites.

Note to Canvas users: Unsplash, a free service formerly incorporated into Canvas, is no longer available within the platform. Adobe Stock is a great alternative solution.

Adobe Substance:

The new collection of 3D assets in the Adobe Substance suite includes four unique design apps and a library of 3D assets. The suite includes Substance 3D Painter is described as the “Photoshop of 3D.” It is used to add realistic textures to 3D models; The other three applications in the suite, Substance Designer and Substance Sampler, and Substance stager, are used to create models and filters.
