Celebrating Milestone Achievements: Year One of the HCM Refresh Project

Initiated in 2023, the HCM Refresh Project embarked on a mission to harness the power of PeopleSoft HCM’s automated solutions and to improve system functionalities, streamline business processes, enhance user experience, and deliver important workforce reporting. The first year was dedicated to laying the groundwork with data redesign and system configuration changes. Our approach was not just about technology but also about reimagining our processes to better serve our educational mission.
The Journey So Far
We are pleased to inform you that the goals of Year One were met. June 1st marked a significant milestone towards improving operational excellence and supporting strategic growth. We delivered the following in Year One.
- Data redesign and conversion plan.
- Details and steps for configuration changes.
- Implement budget functionality for positions.
- Test plan and detailed test cases, including end-to-end testing.
- The training plan and materials are geared towards users affected in the phase.
- Built a foundation for executive and management reports with more meaningful and timely data.

Year two and three deliverables are currently under assessment.
