An exciting update is coming to the Microsoft Outlook application for Mac users with a fresh look and improved user experience.

Currently, Outlook provides Mac users the option to switch between the new Outlook and classic Outlook through a toggle in the application. However, starting mid-February 2022, the new Outlook for Mac will become the default experience for those running macOS version 10.14 (Mojave) and later.

What is new in Outlook for Mac:

  • Customizable Toolbar
  • Improved Search
  • Microsoft 365 Groups
  • Improved Event Scheduling
  • Meeting Insights
  • Create Events from Email

What is coming to Outlook for Mac later this year:

  • Local folders
  • Resend Message
  • Contact Lists
  • Contact Folders
  • Block Sender
  • Open Shared Calendars

If you use Apple’s Mail application to access your Chapman email on your computer, we encourage you to either download the Microsoft Outlook Application or use Outlook on the Web instead. Apple Mail is not updated often enough to guarantee that it will always provide the best Outlook experience.
