This April will mark the 46th anniversary of Earth Day. Founded in 1970, Earth Day recognizes April 22nd  as a day to support the environment and recognize ways humans can heal the world they live in. This particular Earth Day is also important because it marks the day the Paris Agreement is open for signatures. This treaty, which over one hundred nations are expected to sign, attempts to combat climate change by limiting the amount of carbon emissions each nation releases into the air.

The Leatherby Libraries are celebrating this universal day with a new display behind the reference desk. There, a small sampling of our collection of books on our planet is exhibited. For your convenience, our Coordinator of Interlibrary Loan, Jessica Bower has compiled a
bibliography
of all books in the collection. Next time you walk through the library, take a look at the display our librarians put together.
