Leatherby Hosts an Electrifying Dialogue on the Topic of Creativity in Art and Science
October 12, 2016
In honor of the Inauguration of Dr. Daniele C. Struppa as Chapman University’s Thirteenth President, the Leatherby Libraries hosted an electrifying dialogue on the topic of Creativity in Art and Science. In collaboration with Chapman’s Institute for Quantum Studies, the discussion was set in the Malloy Performance Portico on the third floor of the library where esteemed guests Yakir Aharonov, Sir Roger Penrose, Andrew Briggs, Werner Herzog and Jayne Reich discussed topics focusing on the creativity in the arts and science.
The event was also an opportunity to open Jayne Reich’s sculptures exhibition where a permanent piece was dedicated to the Aharonov Alcove.
