Wilkinson College of Art, Humanities, and Social Sciences and the Department of World Languages and Cultures recently hosted Taiwanese author Yang Shuang-zi and Taiwanese and American translator Lin King to discuss their 2024 award-winning novel, Taiwan Travelogue. The book follows the fictionalized story of a Japanese author visiting Taiwan in the 1930s during Japan’s colonization.

During this past interterm, Helene Vlok (’26 Art History, Business Administration) completed an internship at the Escalette Collection of Art. She spent most of her time creating the episodes for this year’s “The Artist is Present” podcast, the Escalette Collection’s special series hosted by Catalyst: A Creative Industries Podcast. The latest episodes will be released
