Call for Undergraduate Student Papers – Deadline February 10, 2014

The Department of Religious Studies and members of the Theta Alpha Kappa Religious Studies National Honor Society invite Chapman undergraduate students to submit papers in the area of religion, gender and sexuality for peer-reviewed competitive consideration for presentation at the undergraduate student paper sessions of this international conference, Religious Genderings: The Socio-Spiritual [Dis-]Empowerment of Women and Men. Interdisciplinary Conference, which will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014.
Papers should be 8-12 pages in length (double spaced with 1 inch margins) and may reflect a variety of topics, disciplines and religious perspectives, including but not limited to Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism.
Papers should be sent to Prof. Nancy M. Martin via e-mail at nmartin@chapman.edu. Please include your name, major(s), and contact information. The deadline for submitting papers has been extended to February 10, 2014.
