One of the most effective ways to build a strong and distinct resume is to present at a conference. This session will offer guidance on how to prepare a conference presentation, how to put together an application and abstract, and how to turn the presentation into further works (including publication).

About the Dr. Keene …

Jennifer Keene, Ph.D. is professor of history and chair of the History Department. She received her Ph.D. in History from Carnegie-Mellon University and is a specialist in American military experience during World War I.  She has received numerous fellowships for her research, and gives talks national and internationally on her research. Dr. Keene is an established publishing record and has served as an on-camera expert for several film documentaries.
