I Just Want to be a White Girl Guggenheim Gallery at Chapman University

The Guggenheim Gallery presents, I Just Want to be a White Girl, January 28 – March 10, 2019 in the Guggenheim Gallery at Chapman University by Politically Private, the interplay of personal identity and public performance – Monday – Friday, 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. (closed on Sundays).
Politically Private presents a variety of artworks, from paintings to installations, that investigate the basis of identity, and its inherent relationship to politics and public display. Using disparate media the six artists share an interest in how individuality interacts with notions of race, citizenship, and family.
