Student Awarded Research Grant with Professor

Professor Lia Halloran and BFA in Art student, Julie Russo, were awarded Chapman University’s Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Program grant. Ms. Russo was one of the 13 “fellows” chosen to participate and will be working on a research project with Professor Halloran over the summer.

Assistant Professor John Compton in the department of Political Science was awarded the 2012 Law & Society Association’s Dissertation Prize.  His dissertation “A Moral Revolution: Evangelical Reform and the Transformation of American Constitutionalism, 1830-1937” was the unanimous choice of the committee. Dawn Huxley’s Trip to New York
