Chapman Singapore Senior Wins “Radio Star of the Year”

Congratulations are in order for Chapman Singapore student Sonia Chew, who recently took the top prize at Singapore’s largest pop music station.

Nana Greenwald, Associate Dean and Director of Chapman University Singapore (an institute of higher learning in which Dodge College’s faculty and students train and exchange with Singapore’s most gifted art and film students) writes to us about our sister school’s success,

One of our Seniors, Sonia Chew, entered a radio DJ competition, sponsored by 98.7, the big pop music station in Singapore.  She just won the whole thing on Saturday.  In addition to receiving cash prizes, Sonia will now have an on-air DJ contract with the station, and will be part of producing programming.  Of course, she will finish her Senior year at Chapman!

She also won “Most Stylish” from the event sponsor, Levis.
