The Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) department is excited to introduce Prompted: An AI Community at Chapman, a new virtual space designed to help our campus community explore and engage with AI in a thoughtful and approachable way.

Prompted is a Viva Engage community created for faculty, staff, and students who are curious about AI. Whether you’re just getting started or already experimenting with tools in your day-to-day work, the goal is simple: to join a shared space where the Chapman community can learn together, ask questions, and stay informed as AI continues to evolve. 

Members of the community can expect: 

  • AI news and updates relevant to higher education and Chapman University 
  • Tips, prompts, and practical examples for using AI tools more effectively 
  • Training opportunities and resources, including Chapman-approved AI tools 
  • Fun facts and conversations that make learning about AI accessible and engaging 

Above all, Prompted emphasizes responsible, ethical, and inclusive use of AI, aligned with Chapman’s values and guidelines.
