Professor and Student Present Case Study at CESC

n and senior graphic design major, Tavish Ryan, presented their case study on the design of evacuation information at the
California Emergency Services Conference
in Sacramento.

They were the first designers invited to participate at this forum, which included Secretary Mark Ghilarducci and representatives from FEMA and CalEMA.

Professor Jaenichen’s methodology has been implemented in Santa Barbara county and is currently working with Orange County with support from Professor Steven Schandler, graphic design and psychology Chapman students.
