Learn how to be kind to yourself on February 20

Wilkinson College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Sociology Department and the Honors Program present, Mindfulness: Being Kind to Yourself with Rupa Ward on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 7 p.m. in Beckman Hall 203.
Rupa Ward, a Chapman alumnus, is a Mindfulness Instructor and Marriage and Family Therapist whose practice combines different therapeutic techniques with strategies derived from mindfulness meditation practice and body-mind integration. She has been a long time student of the Tibetan Dzogchen Master Kenpo Choga, Rinpoche, and she has also studied with the Vietnamese Zen Master, Thich Nhat Hahn. She is a Certified EMDR Therapist, and has been working extensively in the addiction recovery and trauma community, doing individual, group, couples, and family therapy, for the past four years. She also specializes in Grief and Loss issues.
