, will be visiting Chapman University to discuss her book
Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Coast Trail
.  Leading up to this exciting night the University Program Board (UPB) will be hosting a student and alumni hike in honor of Strayed’s visit.

Join them on Saturday, September 26, 2015, as they hike 3.5 miles at Vasquez Rocks located in the high desert near Agua Dulce Springs. Vasquez Park features 932 acres of spectacular rock formations, Tataviam Indian sites, and a beautiful seasonal stream.

Transportation to and from the hike will be provided, as well as lunch. Space is limited so make sure to RSVP!

Chapman Students: This is a free hike for students, however, you will still need to RSVP for a spot. Student ticketing will open on Monday, Sept. 21 and closing on Friday, Sept. 25. Once you are registered you will receive an email with detailed information about the hike.

Chapman Alumni: This hike is $15 (which will includes transportation and lunch). Alumni ticketing will open on Wednesday, Sept. 9 and closing on Monday, Sept, 21. Once you are registered you will receive an email with detailed information about the hike.
